ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented individual who combines love of their subject with a passion for empowering young people through great teaching and learning.
Most of all, we are looking for an individual with potential to inspire a team and provide subject leadership that fosters excellence across the science curriculum.

Join us, and you will find a science department that is working to develop a new generation of passionate young scientists. We want every learner to have a deep knowledge of relevant, modern scientific principles, able to communicate their ideas using disciplinary vocabulary, with a curiosity to become cultured investigators.

As Learning Director, you will help us look outwards too, so that all our scientists are enriched by opportunities to interact with the scientific community.

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate a passion about the learning and achievement of all students. You will show a strong understanding of the science curriculum at all key stages of learning.

As a leader, you will have excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and flexible working practices.
